Welcome to the Training & Development site of London East Connexions Partnership (LECP). Since 2002, LECP has invested its expertise into the training and development of practitioners across the whole Children and Young People's sector.

Our vision is to work together with partner agencies and local authorities, to contribute towards the integration of services into Children's Trusts by developing a set of shared training opportunities based on common core skills and knowledge.

We provide high quality professional training and consistent delivery in a number of key content areas. We aim that every delegate leaves each course better equipped with the latest knowledge, skills and techniques to make a marked difference in working with young people back in their workplace.

Our courses range from one-day workshops such as CAF Cards and Professional Boundaries, right through to the NVQ Level 4 LDSS Qualification (Learning, Development & Support Services). Many of these courses are available for individual bookings – you can view our current training calendar and prospectus, and download an application form using the links to the right.

Most of our courses incur a charge, which covers the costs of a trainer, venue, catering and materials. The cost will vary for each course and further details are available in the schedule. We offer a limited training bursary to applicants based in specific boroughs – please contact us if you would like further information.
