Free Time

Life shouldn’t all be about work. That’s why making the most of your free time is important. Take time out from study and schoolwork to do things you enjoy, or to try something different.

Whether you’re looking for a way to relax, to meet new people, learn new things or help in the local community, there’s lots to choose from. This section of the site gives you some ideas. And remember, some of the things you do will also look good on your CV!

Doing sport doesn’t just keep you fit, it also helps you make new friends. And by giving your brain a break, you’ll come at your schoolwork more refreshed.

Playing in a band can teach you lots of new skills like teamwork, negotiation, creativity and co-operation. You may even end up organising the band’s schedule and the finances!

Britain is made up people from all sorts of different backgrounds.

If you’d like to do something you’re interested in, or you’d like to gain some useful experience, there are lots of organisations out there you can join.

If you want to express yourself through drama, art or writing, there are plenty of ways you can get involved.
