Whatever you decide to do next, you may be able to claim one of the following grants or benefits – so make sure you don’t miss out.

If you are working, you are entitled by law to an itemised pay statement, giving you details of your pay in writing, including how much is taken off for Income Tax, National Insurance and any other deductions.

Tax is what the Government takes off its citizens to spend on public services like education, roads, health, defence and welfare.
