Free Time

Free Time

Free time differs for everybody. If you’re at school or college or you’re in full time work, you’re likely to have evenings and weekends free. If you’re at college part-time, working part-time or unemployed, you may have a number of consecutive days free.

Whether you’d like to do something relaxing, or you’d like to meet new people and learn new things, there are lots of ways to make the most of your free time. This site will give you some ideas.

If you’re a young parent you can still make sure you get free time for yourself. There are organisations that can help with free childcare and advice, so you can get a break.

Sport doesn’t just get you fit, it also gives your social life a boost as it can help you make new friends. Give your brain a break from the daily routine by taking some exercise.

If you’d like to do something you’re interested in, or you’d like to gain some useful experience, there are lots of organisations out there you can join.

Perhaps you’ve taken music lessons at school and want to carry on playing. Or perhaps you’re self-taught and want to start expanding your skills.
