Health Intro

When it comes to issues such as eating disorders and drug addiction, it’s important to be clued up, and have the right information. For example, would you know how to spot if someone had anorexia? Or could you explain the effects different drugs can have on you, and the risks of taking them? This section aims to give you the facts on relevant health issues – plus useful contact details if you want to know more.

Eating disorders are fairly common among young people – both men and women can suffer from them.

Still getting spots? You probably hoped you’d have grown out of them by now.

You probably don’t need us to tell you this, but if you’re having sex, use contraception.

It’s a good idea to register with a local doctors’ surgery, so you can go to see a GP if you need to.

These days, you hear a lot about drugs, and chances are, you probably know someone who’s tried them – or perhaps you’ve taken them yourself.

If you’re a parent, you need to think about your child’s health, as well as your own.
