Your Rights

Even at the age of 11 or 12, there are legal issues that affect you. You have a right to know about them. The more you know about what’s going on around you, the more you will be able to make your own mind up about things, and voice your opinion if you want to try and change anything you don’t agree with. This part of the Connexions website lets you know your rights and responsibilities. From knowing when you can start doing part-time work, to treating others fairly, it’s important to know the rules and laws that relate to you. You’ll find out more about some of the topics we cover in this section, such as citizenship, in PHSE classes at school.
